TaxoSeg poster wins Best Poster Award at the 6th Plant Disease & Pest Remote Sensing Conference

The conference was themed “Remote sensing and AI for One Health of vegetation.” Sessions covered pest and disease monitoring, big data and AI, satellite early warning, low-altitude remote sensing and remote sensing models.

The TaxoSeg poster described how structured semantic prototypes connect visual regions with crop–disease category knowledge, and reported results on PlantSeg115, SegPPD-101 and WheatField-Seg. At the closing ceremony, Erkun Zhang's poster received the Best Poster Award.

The group works on visual perception of crop diseases and agricultural image data. At the conference, the group discussed disease monitoring and image recognition with researchers in remote sensing and plant protection.
